Enterprise features

Here’s a list of enterprise features for security:

• The Bot Management module protects the load balancer from undesirable bot activity. HAProxy ALOHA already includes the module, and you can install it on HAProxy Enterprise and HAProxy Fusion. See Bot management module for more information and installation process.

• The HAProxy Enterprise Captcha module can add captcha-style bot detection modes in the load balancer.

• The Fingerprint module records a number of data points about a client. Install on HAProxy Enterprise and HAProxy ALOHA in Fingerprint module.

• The HAProxy Enterprise TLS Fingerprint module can detect malware or unwanted software, such as bots, and implement a response policy based on TLS fingerprints. You can then route suspicious clients to a reCAPTCHA service, for example.

• The Javascript Challenge module can deny access to client programs that are unable to process Javascript or set HTTP cookies. See Javascript Challenge for HAProxy Enterprise and HAProxy ALOHA installation instructions.

• The HAProxy Enterprise Verify Crawler module verifies search engine crawlers if a client presents a User-Agent HTTP header.
